Across the great state of North Carolina (from New Bern to Charlotte), over 400 conference attendees convened on Saturday, June 14, 2014 to become more enlightened, equipped, and empowered to support fatherhood at home and in the community.
Throughout the day, conference attendees heard engaging, educational remarks from Patrick Patterson (Senior Manager, National Fatherhood Clearinghouse) and William Lassiter (Deputy Commissioner, NC Department of Public Safety), participated in a variety of workshops addressing critical fatherhood issues, and showcased admiration and appreciation with several standing ovations of the knowledge gained from the conference keynote speaker “American’s Most Trusted Educator” Dr. Steve Perry.
Congratulations to our 2014 Trailblazers Darryl Lester, Levelle Moton, William “Billy” Lassiter and to the 2014 “Father of the Year” Jeffery Saunders.
